Who's pinning your photos?
You may already know this Pinterest
"trick", but if you're like me and just now finding out, this is
pretty much gold. You get notifications when there’s an activity with your
pins, but not when your content on your blog is pinned.
Anyways, to see what's being pinned from your site, just add
this URL into your address bar: http://www.pinterest.com/source/YOUR WEBSITE
ADDRESS (without www.)
For instance, if I wanted to see who pins my pictures, I would enter
http://www.pinterest.com/source/love-and-whimsy.blogspot.com
This is a simple way to see how your photos are being pinned
and track what you're contributing to the Pinterest community. Pinterest has
been a big source of traffic to my blog, and I'm sure that's true for you too. So
knowing this can help you boost traffic to your blog, increase engagement and
show you what people like so you can keep doing it.
If you check the URL often, you can see how many times your
photos are being repinned, which photos are popular and what categories you are
falling into. A lot of times, I would comment, like or follow my promoters (those who are pinning from my blog) to
thank them and encourage them to come back.
